Cochlear Coffee Talk...

Folks:

This is an informal event presented by Cochlear Americas (the folks who made my implants).

It's for folks who:

* Are candidates for implant surgery and want to explore your options in implant technlogy

* Already have a Cochlear America cochlear or Baja implant

* Are experiencing profound hearing loss and just want to learn more about the technology before exploring your potential as candidates for implant surgery.

There will be a representative from Cochlear Americas at the event. He is also a cochlear implant recipient. He will address any technical questions you may have, and if you are already an implant recipient with a Cochlear Americas implant he can tell you how to get the most out of your implant.

We would love to share our experiences with you, from evaluation, to surgery, to how we use the technology in our daily lives.

Again... this is an informal event. The purpose is to raise awareness about implants.

Drop by anywhere between 5:30 PM and 8:30 PM and introduce yourselves. Ask how this technology has changed our lives and the lives of many, many others.

Those of you who know me personally know the dramatic change the restoration of hearing has made in my life. I want to do all I can to raise awareness about this technology. Stop in and see us and we will share our stories and address your questions.

Here, again, is the event information:
